This division of KAPSARC focuses on social science research related to energy markets and energy policy to meet the needs of energy producers, provide a regional perspective, and to increase the Kingdom’s voice in the global energy dialogue about energy and the environment. Employing a range of economic, policy and technology analysis methods across a broad spectrum of energy and environmental issues, research within this group supplies the foundation for informed and effective policies to encourage the optimal mix of energy security, economic development and environmental protection.
