Human development is an important mandate of the KAPSARC organization and has an entire group dedicated to fostering it. A joint function between KAPSARC’s Research and Human Resources divisions, the Human Development group (HD) concentrates on developing the next generation of Saudi leaders in energy policy, environmental policy and technology research—from undergraduate students to highly distinguished researchers and policy leaders. HD coordinates with KAPSARC’s research divisions to bring leading thinkers and high caliber, eminent scholars and researchers to the Center in subject areas that have been identified as critical. This helps to create new knowledge in these important fields and facilitates the transfer of this knowledge to other KAPSARC researchers.
