The Center’s role is to conduct studies, perform scientific and applied research related to the petroleum industry and provide policy recommendations on energy and environmental issues in order to support and preserve the Kingdom’s interests.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees
His Excellency the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KAPSARC.
Board of Trustees
The Board consists of seven members, including the Chairman of the Board. It is composed of Saudi and international members with extensive experience in research, business and government.
International Advisory Council
The International Advisory Council (IAC) advises on the Center’s ongoing programs and research projects. The IAC meets twice a year and consists of members of national, regional and international stature.

The President
The President serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Center and is responsible for the development and execution of its plans after obtaining approval from the Board of Trustees.
